BCBA-BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ASSISTANT
Our BCBA understands that every child has unique needs. That is why our BCBA observes baseline levels of behavior, assess the child to determine strengths and weaknesses and creates a treatment plan with heavy collaboration with the child, family and educational facilities.
CCES APE teacher is an educationally trained professional who is able to assess individual students and develop, adapt and implement specialized physical education programs in the motor domain.

Language interpretation for special education IEP meetings is a legal requirement in the United States. It’s protected by federal law, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. This means that schools must provide interpreters and translations for parents who don’t speak English proficiently or require American sign language support
DIS counselors provide individual and group counseling to help students with social, emotional, or academic problems. They also provide resources for behavior management, attendance, and welfare
The English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) is a test that measures how well students who are not native English speakers understand English. The ELPAC is required for students in kindergarten through grade 12, and is administered by local educational agencies (LEAs). The test is intended to help teachers identify students who need support in learning English, so they can receive the help they need to succeed in school.
Specialized Academic Instruction (SAI) is a service that adapts the content, delivery, or methodology of instruction to help students with special needs access the general curriculum. SAI is determined by a student’s IEP team, which is based on the student’s assessment information, goals, and data collected

Educationally Related Intensive Counseling Services (ERICS) and Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) are both special education counseling services that support students with social-emotional and behavioral needs:
- ERICS
A federally mandated service that provides counseling and support to students with severe social-emotional and behavioral symptoms. ERICS is prescribed through a student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). ERICS services are designed to help students learn and remain in the least restrictive setting.
- ERMHS
Services that support students’ social-emotional needs and can help improve their academics, behavior, and overall well-being. ERMHS services are individually tailored to the student’s needs and IEP goals. ERMHS may include counseling and/or social work services.
